Regulations of the Royal Alcázar
REGULATORY ORDINANCE OF THE PUBLIC PRICE FOR VISITS AND SERVICE PROVISION IN THE REAL ALCÁZAR OF SEVILLE I.- NATURE, OBJECT, AND BASIS Article 1.-
In the exercise of the powers granted by article 127, in relation to article 41, both of the Consolidated Text of the Law Regulating Local Finances, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004 of March 5, the Hon. City Council of Seville, at the proposal of the Board of the Patronage of the Real Alcázar, in accordance with the provisions of article 9 of its current Statutes, agrees to modify the Ordinance on the public price for visits and service provision in the Real Alcázar of Seville.Article 2.-
The public price shall apply to the entrance and visit to the Real Alcázar, the organization of events and exhibitions, the taking of photographs and recordings, outdoor artistic painting and the filming of movies and documentaries. Article 3.-
This public price is based on the provision of services that the Patronage must perform to fulfill its purposes and the activities referred to in the previous article.II.- OBLIGATED TO PAY Article 4.- Persons who visit the monumental complex and those who organize events and exhibitions, take photographs, recordings, create outdoor artistic paintings, and film movies or documentaries of a private and cultural nature are obliged to pay the public price regulated in this Ordinance. However, the following shall not be subject to the public price regulated in this Ordinance: a) Persons or groups visiting the monument by invitation from the Patronage of the Real Alcázar, or those who do so with official recognition by the Presidency or the Executive Committee of the Patronage.
b) Public Institutions that organize events and exhibitions, take photographs or recordings, and film movies or documentaries with officially recognized character and authorized by the Executive Committee or the Board. These official acts, exhibitions, photographs, recordings, filming of movies, or documentaries must address matters related to Culture, Heritage, or Tourism.
c) Private individuals or groups that organize events and exhibitions, take photographs or recordings, and film movies or documentaries of public interest that do not have recognized official status and that are authorized by the Board. These acts, exhibitions, photographs, recordings, filmings of movies or documentaries must address matters related to Culture, Heritage, or Tourism. The exemption from each official act and public interest event that takes place, as well as the justification supporting it, will be reported to the Executive Committee of the Patronage of the Real Alcázar. The following will not be subject to payment of the First Rate: General Entrance:
a) Visitors born or residing in this Municipality.
b) Minors up to 13 years, accompanied by an adult.
c) Persons with more than 33% disability and their accompanying person with appropriate documentation.
d) Unemployed individuals from the province of Seville, duly accredited with a valid unemployment card.
e) All those persons who, duly authorized, perform research work, plastic arts, etc., inside the premises.
f) Free public visits on days and times set by the Executive Committee, in compliance with the legislation on Historical Heritage.
g) ICOMOS members with duly accredited documentation.
The following will not be subject to payment of the Third Rate:
e) When at least one of the parties is born or residing in the municipality of Seville.
The following will not be subject to payment of the Fifth Rate: Visits to Exhibitions, persons visiting exhibitions that do not incur production costs for the Patronage of the Real Alcázar.III.- RATES Article 5.- The rates to be applied will be as follows:
FIRST RATE: VISITS DURING GENERAL HOURS 1.- General Entrance: This entrance includes the visit to the ground floor of the Palaces and Gardens of the Real Alcázar ………………………………… 15.50 €
2.- Special Entrance to the Cuarto Real Alto: This entrance is limited to the organized partial visit to the Cuarto Real Alto located at the top of the Palace of King D. Pedro ……………………………………………………………………….. 5.50 €
3.- Reduced Entries:
a.- Visitors with Youth Card or student card (ages 13 to 30) ……………………………………………… 8.00 €

NOTE ON THE FIRST RATE:
The payment of the First Rate General Entrance also includes the visit to the Antiquarium, Museum of ceramics of Triana, Bellver Museum - Casa Fabiola, and other museum spaces managed by the City Council of Seville through the Institute of Culture and Arts of Seville (ICAS).
SECOND RATE: NIGHT OR OUTSIDE OF GENERAL HOURS VISITS 1.- Entrance for organized groups: Night visits or outside of general hours with a duration not exceeding one hour for congresses, symposiums, conventions, or similar:
a) Fixed fee per group:

Application rules for the Second Rate section 1:
1.- Visits under the second rate section 1 may be organized by individuals, companies, academic institutions, conference organizers, cruises, and others who wish to offer their members or clients a more intimate and particular approach to the Real Alcázar. These visits are conducted outside the ordinary opening hours and will have a maximum capacity of 150 people.
2.- These special visits must be requested at least 1 month in advance of the desired visit date.
3.- The spaces included in these special visits will correspond to the places requested and paid for as established in the current public pricing order at the time.
4.- Both the payment for these special visits and the payment of all entries needed for the realization will be made effective 10 days before the visit day and must be credited in the account established for that purpose by the Patronage of the Real Alcázar; once the payment is verified, and if it meets all the requirements, it will be notified of the agreement or authorization resolution. Up to a maximum of 10% additional entries concerning those initially paid can be purchased up to the same day of the visit. In no case will the amount paid be refunded unless the service is not provided or the activity is not carried out due to causes attributable to the Patronage of the Real Alcázar.
5.- The PRA may establish a different and capacity procedure for this type of visits, always respecting the maximum capacity established by hour in the Palaces, in exceptional circumstances, by prior justification, particularly congresses, conventions, and cruises, when motivated by their particular singularity. 6.- In all cases, the direction of the PRA shall have the authority to authorize or deny the realization of the special visit requested, considering organizational and management needs and taking into account the quality criteria of the visit. The direction of the PRA may issue the necessary development instructions to regulate the particular conditions of this type of visit.

2.- The Patronage will require the hiring of a Historical Heritage conservator (Restorer, Archaeologist, Art Historian, or equivalent) during the filming, under whose responsibility the delivery of the movable and immovable goods will be in the same state in which they were found. This conservator must have experience in
filming.
3.- The Patronage will require, simultaneously with the payment, the establishment of a civil liability insurance policy, with authorized companies and a cash deposit in a sufficient amount to guarantee the payment of services and possible damages, prior to granting authorization.
4.- The reproduction and public exhibition of the obtained images must be expressly authorized by the Patronage of the Real Alcázar.
FOURTH RATE: CELEBRATION OF NON-OFFICIAL EVENTS For the celebration of events that do not have recognized official status and are authorized by the Presidency, the Executive Committee, or the Board of the Patronage:
a) Admiral Hall:
a.1.- For holding conferences, concerts, book presentations, press conferences, and similar, of a cultural nature and free access until full capacity, with a maximum duration of 3 hours ………………………………………………………………………. Not subject

1.- The amounts of the public prices regulated in the First Rate, in the
section 2 of the Second Rate, in the Fifth and Sixth Rate, will be made effective
by one of the following means:
– At ticket offices: using the vending machines and tickets established for access control to the facilities of the Real Alcázar of Seville.
– By Internet: Using the online reservation and advance ticket sales service.
The revenue from the collection will be deposited in the account that, duly intervened, is opened by the Patronage of the Real Alcázar and the City Council of Seville for this purpose.
2.- The amounts of the Second Rates, section 1, Third, and Fourth Rates will be paid through a deposit in the account opened by the Patronage of the Real Alcázar and the City Council of Seville for this purpose. The amount of the Second Rate, section 1.b) may also be paid at the box office.Article 8.-
1. Tickets purchased are not refundable, except in the following cases:
a) When it has not been possible to carry out the visit due to reasons attributable to the Patronage of the Real Alcázar and the City Council.
b) When the amount deposited has been higher than what is owed for the ticket.
c) When a specific regulation on the deposit in question so establishes.
d) When by regulation, displacement is prohibited, and it is not possible to access the Real Alcázar.
2. The procedure for recognizing the right to a refund of undue payments may be initiated ex officio or at the request of the interested party. The interested party is understood to be the debtor or obligor for payment and, in their absence, the person who made it. In the event of death or extinction and dissolution, the successors of those will be considered as interested parties. The competent body to issue the motivated resolution on the refund of undue payments, which will be notified to the interested parties, is the Executive Committee. The term for notification of the resolution is 6 months from the date on which the initiation agreement is adopted.
4. When the procedure is initiated at the request of the interested party, the request must be addressed to the Executive Committee and contain the following data:
a) Name and surname or full corporate name, tax identification number, and address of the interested party.
b) Address that the interested party indicates for notifications.
c) Justification of the undue payment. The request should be accompanied by documents that prove the right to a refund. Justification may consist of an exact mention of the identifying data of the payment made, including the date and payment method of the payment and its amount. Likewise, all evidence considered appropriate may be provided.
d) Place, date, and signature of the request.
The expiration of the 6-month term, whether the procedure was initiated by the body or at the request of interested parties, without a legitimate express resolution being notified to the interested party, is understood to reject their claim by administrative silence.
In no case shall it proceed to refund the amount of the management commission that has been established in the ticket management and sales system. The occasional closure of some areas of the Real Alcázar or its gardens, for maintenance reasons, urgent needs, or weather alerts, will be duly informed to the public and will not entail any discount or refund of the ticket price.FINAL DISPOSITION This Ordinance shall take effect from its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province, and shall remain in force until its modification or repeal is expressly agreed upon.
Additional Article.-
The agreement to modify the regulatory Ordinance of the public price was initially approved by the Hon. City Council in a session held on October 29, 2024, elevating it to definitive by Resolution of the Hon. Delegate of Finance, Administration, and Digital Transformation dated December 19, 2024, as it was not subject to any claim.

The expiration of the 6-month term, whether the procedure was initiated by the body or at the request of interested parties, without a legitimate express resolution being notified to the interested party, is understood to reject their claim by administrative silence.
In no case shall it proceed to refund the amount of the management commission that has been established in the ticket management and sales system. The occasional closure of some areas of the Real Alcázar or its gardens, for maintenance reasons, urgent needs, or weather alerts, will be duly informed to the public and will not entail any discount or refund of the ticket price.FINAL DISPOSITION This Ordinance shall take effect from its publication in the Official Gazette of the Province, and shall remain in force until its modification or repeal is expressly agreed upon.

The agreement to modify the regulatory Ordinance of the public price was initially approved by the Hon. City Council in a session held on October 29, 2024, elevating it to definitive by Resolution of the Hon. Delegate of Finance, Administration, and Digital Transformation dated December 19, 2024, as it was not subject to any claim.
